If you are looking for earbuds with a unique design and powerful sound, there’s good news.
Nothing, a brand known for its transparent design devices, is launching its new earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3), on September 18.
The company has also revealed the design, which looks attractive and premium. Let’s explore what makes these earbuds special.
Design and Features of Nothing Ear (3)
Nothing has revealed the full design of the Ear (3), which features metal components for a premium feel and better durability.
The earbuds will have an ultraslim design, reducing space between components. The metal antenna has been redesigned with a flat finish and is only 0.35 mm thick.
The case is made of 100% anodized recycled aluminum, with smooth curves, a more ergonomic shape, and a Super Mic.
One notable addition is a new “Talk” button on the case, which hasn’t been explained yet.
What Could the Talk Button Do?
The exact function of the Talk button is not confirmed. It may allow users to interact with an AI assistant using the Super Mic on the case.
There could also be a speaker near the mic for this feature.
With AI features becoming more common in earbuds—like Apple’s AirPods Pro 3, which can do real-time language translation—the Talk button could introduce a standout feature, making Nothing Ear 3 unique in the market.
What’s Special About Nothing Ear 3?
The Ear 3 continues the design of previous models Ear and Ear 2, with a white tip and a transparent stem that has “Ear 3” written in Nothing’s signature font.
The transparent lid remains, while the bottom of the case has a silver metal finish housing the Talk button and Super Mic.
The Nothing Ear 3 will officially launch on September 18. The price is not yet revealed, but considering the Ear 2 launched at Rs 9,999, the new model may be priced similarly.
