Don’t miss this Chance to Clear your Traffic Fines

On 13 September 2025, a National Lok Adalat will be held in many cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Its goal: help people clear old traffic e‑challans or small pending traffic cases, with possible waivers or reductions in fines.

What Relief Can You Get?

You might get up to 75% waiver (discount) on your traffic challan.

This applies to compoundable traffic violations — for example: driving without helmet/seatbelt, overspeeding, wrong parking, missing PUC certificate, etc.

Serious offences are not covered (like drunk driving, hit-and-run, negligent driving causing death).

Download & print your challans

From the official traffic police / Lok Adalat portal, download your challans or notices and print them.

Bring them to the Lok Adalat with your appointment details.

Attend the Lok Adalat session

On the scheduled date (13 September), go to the court complex specified in your token/notice.

Present your case.

A judge will review and decide the settlement.

You may have to pay the reduced amount on the spot.

What Limitations & Conditions Apply?

Only compoundable traffic challans/notices that are pending till a given date are eligible.

Each vehicle is limited: a certain number of notices/challans can be settled per vehicle.

The decisions made in Lok Adalat are final and binding — no appeal after the award
