NPCI has instructed all member banks, UPI apps, and payment service providers (PSPs) to comply with the new rules by 15 September 2025.
The new limits will apply to merchants labeled as ‘Verified Merchant’. Banks offering UPI services must make sure these limits are available to merchants who follow NPCI’s UPI guidelines.
