How does Blend help strengthen friendships?
The new Blend feature acts like a special “friendship feed.” With it, you and a close friend can see and enjoy similar Reels together.
Whether you both like the same type of content or different styles, you’ll be able to share a joint feed using the Blend feature.
How to use the Blend feature:
First, send an invite to the friend you want to share your feed with.
When your friend accepts the invite, a Blend Feed will be created for the two of you.
The Reels in this feed will be a mix based on both your interests.
You can access the Blend feed directly from Instagram chat.
At the top of any chat, you’ll see a Blend icon.
Tap on that icon to send the invite.
Now, watching Reels with friends will feel more exciting and fun. Before, you only shared Reels from your personal feed.
With Blend, you’ll get a mix of Reels, sometimes similar and sometimes different, but always shared.
This feature is perfect for those who love scrolling through Reels with their close ones.

Many people prefer having a personal feed because everyone enjoys different types of content. Some users are not too happy about this new update.
