SBI and IDFC First Bank Credit Card Rules to Change from April 1 – Key Benefits to End

Credit Card Rules: Starting April 1, 2025, several credit card rules will change. The Club Vistara co-branded credit cards issued by IDFC First Bank and SBI Card will undergo significant modifications.

Cardholders will lose milestone ticket vouchers and renewal benefits. Here’s a detailed look at the upcoming changes.

IDFC First Bank: End of Milestone Voucher Benefits

IDFC First Bank has notified its Club Vistara IDFC First Credit Card holders that milestone benefits will be discontinued after March 31, 2025.

However, customers can continue earning Maharaja Points until March 31, 2026, before the card is completely phased out.

Club Vistara Silver Membership will no longer be available. The complimentary voucher, which included one premium economy ticket and a class upgrade voucher, will be discontinued.

Additionally, milestone vouchers for premium economy tickets will also be removed. Cardholders renewing their cards after March 31, 2025, will have their annual fee waived for one year.

SBI Card: No More Ticket Vouchers

SBI Card has also announced changes for its Club Vistara SBI Credit Card and Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Card.

From April 1, 2025, these cards will no longer provide economy or premium economy ticket vouchers.

The Club Vistara SBI Credit Card will no longer offer milestone benefits for annual spending of Rs 1.25 lakh, Rs 2.5 lakh, and Rs 5 lakh.

Similarly, premium economy ticket vouchers will no longer be available on the Club Vistara SBI PRIME Credit Card.

The annual fee for the base SBI Club Vistara Credit Card will be Rs 1,499, while the PRIME variant will cost Rs 2,999.

However, a fee waiver option will still be available. With these key benefits ending from April 2025, Club Vistara credit card holders must plan their spending accordingly.
