Vodafone Idea Reduces Validity of Prepaid Plans

Vodafone Idea (Vi), India’s third-largest telecom company, has made changes to some of its prepaid plans.

The company has reduced the validity of two of its plans, making them more expensive for users.

it has reduced the validity of two of its popular plans, making them more expensive for users.

₹289 Plan Becomes Costlier

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has reduced the validity of its ₹289 prepaid plan. This plan previously offered 48 days of service, but now it offers only 40 days.

This change increases the daily cost of the plan from ₹6.02 to ₹7.225.

The plan still includes 4GB of data and 600 SMS, but with the reduced validity, it has become about ₹40 more expensive.

This plan is a good choice for users who need limited data and a shorter validity period.

If the data runs out before the validity ends, users can purchase a data voucher to get extra data until the plan expires.

₹479 Plan Also Affected

The ₹479 prepaid plan has also become more expensive. The company has reduced its validity from 56 days to 48 days.

Users still get 1GB of data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS daily. However, the plan now offers 1GB of data per day, down from the previous 1.5GB.

With the reduced validity and data, this plan has also become more costly for users.
