Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) offers many prepaid plans with long validity at low prices.
Recently, the company made changes to one of its plans, reducing its validity but increasing the data allowance. This plan costs less than ₹500.
Details of the ₹485 Plan
The updated plan is now priced at ₹485 and has a validity of 80 days, down from the previous 82 days.
However, subscribers now get 2GB of daily data instead of the earlier 1.5GB, which means an additional 500MB of data daily.
Increased Data Benefits
Despite the two-day reduction in validity, the plan offers more data overall. Previously, with 1.5GB daily for 82 days, users received a total of 123GB.
Now, with 2GB daily for 80 days, subscribers will enjoy a total of 160GB of data. This change has lowered the average cost of data, although the daily usage cost has increased.
Additional Benefits
Along with the data, users can make unlimited calls to any network and send 100 SMS daily. They will also receive free caller tunes.
This plan is especially beneficial for users in areas where BSNL has launched 4G services, allowing for faster data usage.
It’s worth noting that this plan’s validity has changed several times. Initially, it offered 90 days, then 82 days, and now 80 days.
Many users are opting for BSNL as other companies raised their prepaid plan prices in July.
