The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched affordable religious tour packages. These packages include a visit to Shirdi Sai Baba and five Jyotirlingas.
The journey will be conducted via the Bharat Gaurav tourist train.
Journey Details
The package covers a 10-night, 11-day trip.
It starts from Bettiah, Bihar, on August 24 and returns on September 3.
Passengers can board or disembark at various stations along the route, including Bettiah, Sagauli, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga,
Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, Dildarnagar, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay.
Rajesh Kumar, the Patna Joint General Manager of IRCTC, mentioned that this scheme is part of the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ initiative to promote tourism through railways.
The special train will feature 3AC and sleeper coaches.
The package prices are Rs 35,795 per person for 3AC and Rs 20,899 per person for sleeper class. These prices include hotel stays, breakfast, meals, sightseeing by bus, and other transport charges.
