Xiaomi unveils First Electric Sedan SU7 in India with 810 km Range

Global mobile manufacturer Xiaomi has showcased its first electric car, the SU7, in the Indian market as part of its 10-year celebration in the country.

This follows the global launch of the SU7, marking Xiaomi’s entry into the electric vehicle (EV) market with significant fanfare.

Two Models Introduced Globally

Xiaomi has introduced two models: the SU7 and the SU7 Max.

The SU7 features rear-wheel drive, offering a range of 668 km on a single charge and a top speed of 210 km/h.

It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 5.28 seconds, with the motor producing 299 PS of maximum horsepower and 400 Nm of maximum torque.

The SU7 Max, on the other hand, boasts a dual motor all-wheel drive system.

It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in a swift 2.7 seconds, delivers a range of 800 km,

and generates a maximum power of 673 PS and 838 Nm of torque.

Pricing and Competitors

The Xiaomi SU7 starts at 2,15,900 Yuan, approximately ₹25 lakh. This price point offers an impressive range of 810 km.

Comparatively, the recently launched BYD Seal starts at ₹41 lakh and provides a range of 650 km on a single charge, making the SU7 a competitive option in the market.

Design and Features of Xiaomi SU7

The SU7 and SU7 Max are available in three color variants,

embodying the concept of “Speed Ultra” for ultimate speed experience.

The SU7 is a 4-door electric sedan, measuring 4997 mm in length, 1963 mm in width, and 1455 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm.

The car is offered with two battery variants to cater to different user needs.
