Xiaomi launches New Pad 7 in India (Price & Specs)

Chinese company Xiaomi has launched a new tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 7, bringing several upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 6.

The Pad 7 is claimed to be India’s first tablet with a nano texture display, offering vibrant colors without glare for an enhanced visual experience. Let’s take a look at its design, features, and pricing.

Design and Build

Xiaomi has kept the design of the new tablet similar to the Xiaomi Pad 6, with only slight changes.

The rear features a square camera module, and the tablet has a sleek metal unibody design with a flat frame.

The power button is placed on the left side when held horizontally, while the top edge includes a volume rocker and a dedicated space to magnetically charge the stylus.

Display, Processor, Camera, and Battery

The Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with an 11.2-inch IPS LCD display with 3.2K resolution and a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate.

For sound, it features a quad speaker setup. Powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, it comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage, with an alternative 8GB+128GB variant.

For cameras, the rear module takes inspiration from Xiaomi’s flagship smartphones, featuring a 13MP camera with LED flash.

The front offers an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The tablet is powered by an 8,850mAh battery

and runs on Hyper OS 2.0 based on Android 15. The tablet will be available in Graphite Gray, Mirage Purple, and Seg Green colors.

Price and Availability

The 8GB+128GB base variant of the Xiaomi Pad 7 is priced at Rs 26,999, while the 12GB+256GB variant costs Rs 29,999.

The Nano Texture Display Edition is priced at Rs 31,999. The tablet will be available for sale starting January 13 through Amazon, Xiaomi’s website, and retail stores.
