Xiaomi launches affordable Drone ‘Fimi Mini 3’ with 4K Recording

Fimi, a sub-brand of the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, has launched the Fimi MINI 3 drone on the Xiaomi Youpin online platform.

This lightweight drone can record 4K videos and has a flight time of 32 minutes on a single charge.

Additionally, a dual battery version is available, which extends its flying capacity.

Features and Specifications

The Fimi MINI 3 drone is available in two versions:

a single battery model priced at 1999 Yuan (approximately Rs. 22,999) and a dual battery model priced at 2299 Yuan (approximately Rs. 26,450).

Both models come with the option of insurance, which slightly increases the overall cost.

The drone features a half-inch 48MP CMOS sensor from Sony, enabling it to record in 4K resolution and capture 8K time-lapse videos.

It can transmit real-time HD images from up to 9 kilometers away, with a transmission delay of just 120 milliseconds.

Weighing only 250 grams, the Fimi MINI 3 does not require any special permissions to fly in most areas.

Advanced Capabilities and Safety Features

Equipped with AI capabilities, the Fimi MINI 3 excels in night scenes and offers a professional-level flight control system for stable and time-lapse photography.

Its gimbal supports automatic shooting from multiple angles, and users can view everything through the app.

The drone also offers a vertical shooting mode, ideal for vertical screen devices.

Safety features include an automatic return-to-home (RTH) function, GPS real-time monitoring, low battery alerts, and strong wind warnings.
