In a major relief for pilgrims, local residents, and business owners, the Vrindavan Post Office has started 24-hour postal booking services.
With this new initiative, customers can now book postal products and services at any time of the day or night.
The move makes the Vrindavan Post Office the first in the district to provide round-the-clock booking facilities.
Big Relief for Pilgrims and Traders
Vrindavan attracts thousands of visitors from across India and around the world every year.
Many pilgrims and traders often found it difficult to visit the post office during regular working hours due to busy schedules.
Now, they can conveniently book parcels, Speed Post, registered mail, and other postal services even during the night.
The new service is expected to save time and make postal facilities more accessible for everyone visiting or living in the holy city.
Additional Staff Deployed for Smooth Operations
Senior Superintendent of Post Offices Vijendra said the decision was taken keeping in mind the growing number of pilgrims and the needs of local merchants.
To ensure smooth functioning, the department has deployed additional staff at the post office.
Postal bookings will now be handled in three shifts, allowing services to continue without interruption throughout the day.
Faster Service, Less Waiting Time
The department has also taken steps to reduce crowding at service counters.
With more staff available, customers are expected to face shorter waiting times, especially during peak hours when footfall is high.
The 24-hour service is expected to improve customer convenience and strengthen postal connectivity in one of the country’s most visited religious destinations.
