Maruti Suzuki is offering a special discount on its popular hatchback, the Swift, in January 2025. If you buy the Swift this month, you can avail of benefits up to Rs 35,000.
This discount is available for both the 2023 and 2024 model years of the Swift. Customers will receive a cash discount along with a scrappage bonus.
The starting ex-showroom price for the Swift is Rs 6.49 lakh. However, this offer is only available until January 31, as the company plans to increase car prices this month.

Design, Features, and Specifications of the New Gen Swift
The 2025 Maruti Swift comes with a redesigned interior that offers a more luxurious cabin. It includes rear AC vents, a wireless charger, and dual charging ports.
A rearview camera is available to help drivers park easily, and the car is equipped with a 9-inch free-standing infotainment screen.
The dashboard has been completely redesigned, and the infotainment screen supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with wireless connectivity.
The center console also features an auto climate control panel, similar to the ones found in the Baleno and Grand Vitara. Additionally, the Swift now comes with new LED fog lamps.
Engine, Mileage, and Safety Features
The 2025 Swift is powered by a new Z series engine that significantly improves mileage compared to the older model.
The car features a 1.2L Z12E 3-cylinder NA petrol engine that generates 80bhp of power and 112nm of torque.
It also comes with a mild hybrid setup and offers two gearbox options: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
In terms of mileage, the manual FE variant delivers 24.80kmpl, while the automatic FE variant provides 25.75kmpl.
For safety, the new Swift is equipped with advanced features, including hill hold control, ESP, new suspension, and 6 airbags across all variants.
Other safety features include cruise control, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, ABS, EBD, and brake assist (BA).
