Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw flagged off the new services on Sunday.

One train will connect Bikaner with Ahmedabad, while the other will provide a direct link between Jaipur and Darbhanga.

Why This Train Is Important

The new Amrit Bharat Express will provide a much more frequent travel option, making journeys between Rajasthan and Bihar easier and more convenient.

The train is expected to reduce travel difficulties for thousands of passengers who regularly travel between the two states.

Khatipura Station Gets a Bigger Role

The launch of the new train was accompanied by the inauguration of additional railway facilities at Khatipura station in Jaipur.

According to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Jaipur’s growing population and increasing passenger traffic require more railway infrastructure.

He said Khatipura has been upgraded to handle the maintenance of nearly 450 trains every month.

The minister also revealed that railway projects worth more than ₹76,000 crore are currently being implemented across Rajasthan.

In addition, modernization and redevelopment work is underway at around 1,300 railway stations across the country.

These new train services are expected to improve connectivity, reduce travel challenges, and provide better transportation options for passengers across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Bihar.
