Passengers planning to travel between Ahmedabad and Agra now have a new option.
Western Railway has announced a special weekly train connecting Asarva (Ahmedabad) and Agra Cantt to meet the growing demand for travel on this route.
The special service will run for a limited period and will provide direct connectivity to several important cities and tourist destinations across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
The train is expected to be especially useful for passengers travelling to places like Udaipur, Sawai Madhopur, and Agra during the busy travel season.
Train Schedule and Running Dates
The Asarva–Agra Cantt Special Train (No. 01909) will operate from June 9, 2026, to July 28, 2026.
The train will leave Asarva every Tuesday at 3:00 PM and reach Agra Cantt at 7:45 AM the next day.
For the return journey, the Agra Cantt–Asarva Special Train (No. 01910) will run from June 8, 2026, to July 27, 2026.
It will depart from Agra Cantt every Monday at 6:10 PM and arrive at Asarva at 11:10 AM the following day.

Western Railway has announced that reservations for the Asarva–Agra Cantt Special Train opened on June 7, 2026, from 8:00 AM.
Passengers can book their tickets through Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters across the country or online through the IRCTC platform.
Since this is a special train running for a limited period, passengers planning their journey are advised to book tickets early to avoid last-minute availability issues.
