Simple Energy has introduced an upgraded version of its Simple One electric scooter. Previously, the scooter had a range of 212 km on a single charge.
The updated model now offers an impressive range of 248 km. The ex-showroom price of the upgraded scooter is Rs 1.66 lakh.
New Features and Improvements
The updated Simple One comes with several software upgrades, making it more advanced and user-friendly. These features include:
1) App integration and navigation
2) Updated ride modes
3) Park assist (forward and reverse)
4) Over-the-air (OTA) updates
5) Regenerative braking and trip history
6) Customizable dashboard themes
7) “Find My Vehicle” feature and auto-brightness
Additionally, it includes useful features like a rapid brake system, tire pressure monitoring, and a USB charging port.
Availability and Company Plans
The new Simple One Gen-1.5 is now available at Simple Energy dealerships. This model features a 750W charger
and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds. It also has over 30 liters of under-seat storage space.
Simple Energy currently has 10 stores in cities like Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, and Kochi.
The company plans to expand its reach to 23 states by FY26, opening 150 new stores and 200 service centers.
