The allotment of the company’s ₹9,812.91 crore IPO is expected to be finalized today, July 17.

IPO Attracts Strong Demand
The SBI Funds Management IPO received an overwhelming response from investors.
The public issue remained open for subscription from July 14 to July 16 and was subscribed 41.66 times overall.

Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs): 140.11 times
Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs): 22.51 times
Retail Investors: 3.6 times
This is also the largest IPO of the year, with an issue size of nearly ₹10,000 crore.
Grey Market Premium (GMP) Remains Strong
The IPO is also seeing positive sentiment in the grey market.
The Grey Market Premium (GMP) is currently around ₹97 per share, indicating an expected listing gain of about 17% over the upper price band of ₹574.
Market observers note that the GMP has improved compared to previous days.
IPO Price Band and Offer Details
The company fixed the IPO price band at ₹545 to ₹574 per share.
The issue was entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 17.10 crore shares by existing shareholders State Bank of India (SBI) and Amundi.
Since it was an OFS, SBI Funds Management will not receive any funds from the IPO.
After listing, the combined stake of the promoter group is expected to fall from 98.2% to 89.8%, while public shareholding will increase to 10.2%, which could improve liquidity and trading activity in the stock.
