State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced a new design for its FASTag, which will help make paying tolls easier and reduce travel time.

It is specially created for vehicles like cars, jeeps, and vans (vehicle class VC-04), making vehicle identification and toll collection quicker than before.
This will allow passengers to have a faster and more convenient journey.
What is SBI FASTag?
SBI FASTag is a device that uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to allow automatic toll payments.
It is linked to a prepaid or savings account and is attached to the windscreen of the vehicle.
This system lets drivers pass through toll plazas without stopping, as the toll amount is deducted automatically.
FASTags can be purchased and recharged as needed from authorized issuers.
