Sanchar Sathi App launched for Convenience and Safety

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has launched the Sanchar Sathi app to make it easier for people to file complaints related to online fraud, lost phones,

and other issues directly from their mobile devices. Previously, individuals had to visit the Sanchar Sathi website to report phone theft or fake calls.

With the launch of this app, the process has become much simpler and more accessible.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, during the app’s launch, emphasized that the Sanchar Sathi app will help safeguard people’s privacy

and ensure their safety. The app is available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Although the Sanchar Sathi portal was launched in 2023, the app is expected to reach a wider audience, helping more people stay safe.
