Sanchar Saathi App launched to combat Cyber Fraud and Fake Calls

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has launched the Sanchar Sathi app to make it easier for people to report issues.

Through this app, users can lodge complaints about online fraud, lost phones, and more, directly from their mobile phones.

Previously, people had to visit the Sanchar Sathi website to report phone theft or fake calls, but now they can do it conveniently through the app.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated during the launch of the Sanchar Saathi app that the app will help keep the public safe while ensuring privacy protection.

The app is available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

You can complain about fake messages and calls

This app allows you to check how many connections have been fraudulently taken in your name.

The app also allows users to block those fraudulent connections. Additionally, users can file a report for lost or stolen phones through the app.

Although the Sanchar Sathi portal was launched in 2023. Now, the app has been introduced, allowing more people to stay safe by using it.
