Weekly holiday for all banks.
January 6: Birth Anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh
Banks will be closed in Haryana and Punjab for Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary.
January 11: Second Saturday
Banks will remain closed across the country for the second Saturday.
January 12: Sunday and Swami Vivekananda Jayanti
Banks will be closed on Sunday, which is also Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
January 14: Makar Sankranti and Pongal
Banks will remain closed in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu for Makar Sankranti and Pongal.
January 15: Thiruvalluvar Day, Magh Bihu, and Makar Sankranti
Local festivals will be celebrated, and banks will be closed in Tamil Nadu, Assam, and other states.
January 16: Ujjavar Tirunal
Banks will be closed in Tamil Nadu for Ujjavar Tirunal.
January 19: Sunday
Weekly holiday for all banks.
January 22: Imoin
Banks will remain closed in Manipur for Imoin festival.
January 23: Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose
Banks will be closed in Manipur, Odisha, Punjab, Sikkim, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Delhi for Netaji’s birth anniversary.
January 25: Fourth Saturday
Banks will remain closed across the country for the fourth Saturday.
January 26: Republic Day
Banks will be closed across the country for Republic Day.
January 30: Sonam Losar
Banks will be closed in Sikkim for Sonam Losar.
