There is good news for students appearing in the NEET exam on June 21.
To help candidates reach their exam centres without hassle, Indian Railways has announced special trains on several routes.
The decision comes at a time when train reservations are heavily booked due to summer travel and the large number of students travelling for the NEET exam.
These special services are expected to provide much-needed relief to students and their families.
Why Has Railways Started Special Trains?
Every year, lakhs of students travel to different cities to appear for the NEET exam.
However, getting confirmed train tickets during the peak travel season can be difficult.
To reduce the pressure on regular passenger trains and make travel easier, the Ratlam Railway Division has introduced special trains connecting Indore, Bhopal, Ratlam, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and Bandra.
Indore-Bhopal Special Train Schedule
Train No. 09354 (Indore-Bhopal-Ratlam Special) will leave Indore on June 20 at 11:25 AM.
The train will travel through Fatehabad, Badnagar, Ratlam, Nagda and Ujjain before reaching Bhopal at 7:00 PM.
For the return journey, Train No. 09353 (Bhopal-Ratlam Special) will depart from Bhopal on June 20 at 7:40 PM and reach Ratlam in the early hours of June 21.
The trains will stop at major stations including Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Maksi, Shajapur, Sehore, Sant Hirdaram Nagar and Bhopal. Sleeper and General Second Class coaches will be available for passengers.
Special Train Between Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and Bandra
Train No. 09352 (Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Bandra Terminus Special) will depart from Dr. Ambedkar Nagar on June 19 at 11:00 PM.
The train will pass through Indore, Ujjain and Ratlam before heading towards Dahod, Vadodara, Surat and Valsad.
It is scheduled to reach Bandra Terminus on June 20 at 3:40 PM.
Return Journey Details
The return service, Train No. 09351 (Bandra Terminus-Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special), will leave Bandra on June 20 at 6:20 PM and reach Ratlam on June 21 at 6:15 AM.
After Ratlam, the train will continue via Nagda and Ujjain before reaching Indore and Dr. Ambedkar Nagar.
In both directions, the train will halt at important stations including Indore, Ujjain, Ratlam, Dahod, Godhra, Chhayapuri, Bharuch, Ankleshwar, Surat, Navsari, Bilimora, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar and Borivali.
Booking Has Started
According to Ratlam Railway Division Public Relations Officer Mukesh Kumar, bookings for these special trains started on June 19.
Students and passengers can check train timings, stoppages and coach details on the Indian Railways enquiry portal before planning their journey.
With NEET exam day approaching, these special trains are expected to make travel easier for thousands of candidates and help them reach their destinations on time.
