Puri Gangasagar Baidyanath Yatra will begin from Solapur on September 30, 2026, offering travellers a nine-day pilgrimage covering Puri, Bhubaneswar, Gangasagar and Baba Baidyanath Dham.
The Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train will return to Solapur on October 8.

The package starts at ₹16,280 per person for Economy Sleeper class. The Standard 3AC package costs ₹27,790, while the Comfort 2AC option is priced at ₹36,940 per person.
For children aged 5 to 11 years, the fares are ₹15,270 for Economy, ₹26,600 for Standard 3AC and ₹35,510 for Comfort 2AC.
Indian Railways is providing an approximately 33% concession under the Bharat Gaurav Train scheme.
The package includes train travel, road transfers, hotel accommodation, meals and guide or escort services, allowing passengers to cover several destinations through one organised pilgrimage tour.
Which Religious Places Will The Train Cover?
The nine-day itinerary includes several important religious and heritage destinations. In Puri, passengers will visit the Jagannath Temple and Konark Sun Temple, while Bhubaneswar includes a visit to Lingaraj Temple.
The tour then moves to Kolkata and Gangasagar, where passengers will visit Gangasagar and Kali Mata Temple.
The final major pilgrimage stop is Baba Baidyanath Jyotirlinga Temple in Deoghar, reached through Jasidih.
Puri Gangasagar Baidyanath Yatra Route And Dates
The journey starts from Solapur on September 30, with boarding points including Kurduvadi, Daund, Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Panvel, Kalyan, Nashik, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Bhusaval, Akola and Badnera.
The train reaches Nagpur on October 1 before continuing towards Puri.
Passengers reach Puri on October 2 and visit the Jagannath Temple.
The following day includes Konark and Lingaraj Temple before the journey continues towards Kolkata.
On October 4, travellers reach Kolkata and proceed by road to Gangasagar. After an early morning visit on October 5, the group returns to Kolkata for Kali Mata Temple sightseeing before travelling by train towards Jasidih.
The train reaches Jasidih on October 6. From there, passengers travel by road to Baba Baidyanath Temple in Deoghar for darshan before beginning the return journey.
The return journey covers several boarding and de-boarding points, including Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Nashik, Kalyan, Panvel, Pune and Kurduvadi.
The tour concludes at Solapur on October 8.

The Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train has 500 Economy Sleeper seats, 200 Standard 3AC seats and 50 Comfort 2AC seats.
