PNB Customers must complete THIS Task by January 23 to avoid Account Closure

Important news for crores of Punjab National Bank (PNB) customers: Ensure this task is completed by January 23. Failing to comply will result in account closure.

As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has directed its customers to update their ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) details by January 23, 2025.

This rule applies to account holders whose KYC update was pending as of September 30, 2024, and those who have not yet completed their KYC update.

Offline and Online KYC Process

Customers can submit documents such as their identity card, address proof, recent photo, PAN or Form 60, income proof, and mobile number at the nearest branch.

Additionally, the KYC process can also be completed through PNB ONE, internet banking services, or via registered email or post.

If KYC is not completed, the account will become dormant

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced that if customers do not update their KYC by the deadline, their account may be restricted or become dormant.

This means that customers will not be able to conduct any transactions.

PNB advises customers to visit the nearest branch or check the bank’s official website for assistance to complete the KYC process.

Completing KYC on time is essential to ensure smooth banking transactions.

8 days left to complete KYC

Punjab National Bank customers have just eight days left to complete their KYC.

If KYC is not updated within this time, the account will become dormant. If the KYC is not completed, you will not be able to perform any transactions.

The PNB bank account will remain inactive until account holders submit the required documents for KYC.
