Farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, which is set to be released by the Modi government by the end of February 2025.
According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar on February 24, 2025, to attend an agricultural program.
During the event, he will transfer the installment directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers.
Important Note: Updating e-KYC is mandatory for farmers to receive benefits under this scheme.
Key Details About the 19th Installment
Release Date: The 19th installment is expected to be distributed by February 24, 2025.
Previous Installment: The 18th installment was released on October 15, 2024.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Yojana), eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually as financial aid.
This amount is distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Since the scheme began, 18 installments have already been provided to farmers.
Eligibility Criteria for PM Kisan Scheme
To benefit from the scheme, farmers must meet the following conditions:
1) The applicant must not hold a government job.
2) Farmers paying income tax are not eligible.
3) Only one member per family can receive the benefits.
4) Completing the e-KYC process is mandatory to ensure installment payments.
