OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will be launched in India on January 7, 2025, at 9 PM.
The company announced this through a poster shared on its official X account, OnePlus Club. This launch will take place during their winter event.
While the series has already been introduced in China, we can expect information about the features and price to be similar for the Indian launch.
Expected Features of the OnePlus 13
Display and Processor
The OnePlus 13 will feature a 6.82-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ resolution.
It will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and run on OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15.
While OnePlus has not confirmed the exact software update plans, the phone is likely to receive up to four years of Android updates and five years of security updates, following the trend of previous models.
Battery and Charging
The OnePlus 13 will come with a larger 6,000mAh battery, an upgrade from the OnePlus 12’s 5,400mAh.
OnePlus claims this bigger battery will offer up to two days of usage. It supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring quick power-ups.
Camera and Durability
The OnePlus 13 will feature a 50-megapixel LYT-808 primary camera sensor from the OnePlus 12.
Additionally, its telephoto and ultrawide lenses will also be upgraded to 50-megapixels. With Hasselblad branding, the phone will support 4K/60fps Dolby Vision video capture.
The OnePlus 13 will also be IP68 and IP69 rated, making it resistant to water damage. It will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that works even with wet hands.
Expected Price of OnePlus 13 in India
The OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced under Rs 70,000 in India. The OnePlus 12 was launched at Rs 64,999,
and the new model may either maintain a similar price or increase slightly by a few thousand rupees.
