Air travel from Noida International Airport has become more convenient from July 1 as IndiGo has expanded its domestic network by launching flights to 11 additional cities.
The move is expected to improve connectivity and give passengers more travel options from the newly operational airport.
With the latest expansion, travellers can now fly to 16 cities from Noida International Airport, making it one of the fastest-growing domestic aviation hubs.
IndiGo Adds 11 New Destinations
IndiGo had earlier started flights to Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Amritsar, Lucknow and Jammu after passenger operations began at the airport in mid-June.
From July 1, the airline has added services to several more destinations, including:
Navi Mumbai
Srinagar
Jodhpur
Bhopal
Dehradun
Pantnagar
Dharamshala
Jaipur
Chandigarh
Bareilly
Kishangarh (service begins on Thursday)
With these additions, passengers now have access to flights connecting Noida with major cities across the country.
Flights Now Available to 16 Cities
The airport will now offer flights to 16 destinations in total.
However, some routes will have limited weekly operations.
Flights to Bareilly will operate four days a week, while Kishangarh flights will be available three days a week.
The increase in flight services will also raise the number of daily aircraft take-offs and landings at the airport to 48.
Airport officials said all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure smooth operations and a comfortable travel experience for passengers.
Additional staff have also been deployed to handle the expected rise in passenger traffic.
Other Airlines Also Expanding Operations
Apart from IndiGo, Akasa Air has been operating flights from Noida International Airport since June 16.
At present, the airline offers services to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai.
Air India Express has also partnered with the airport for future operations, although it has not yet started passenger flights from Noida.
