Maruti Suzuki announces Price Hike for All Models

Maruti Suzuki, the largest car-selling company in India, has announced a price hike for all its car models. The new prices will be effective from February 1, 2025. Reason Behind the Price Increase

Maruti Suzuki explained that the decision to raise prices was due to increasing input and operating costs. As a result, the company has no choice but to pass on some of the additional expenses to the customers. However, Maruti has also emphasized that it is committed to minimizing the impact on buyers by optimizing its costs.

Maruti Suzuki’s Strong Sales Performance

Despite the price hike, Maruti Suzuki remains the top-selling car brand in India. In December 2024, the company sold 1,78,248 units, marking a 30% increase compared to the previous year. This includes 1,32,523 units sold in the domestic market, 37,419 units exported, and 8,306 units sold to other OEMs.
