There is good news for people planning to buy a home or plot in Lucknow. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) is ready to launch two large housing projects — Naimish Nagar and Varun Vihar.
According to reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to officially launch both schemes soon. LDA has already completed most of the preparations, and the final arrangements for the launch are underway.
These projects are expected to create new opportunities for homebuyers looking for residential plots in the city.
More Than 3,100 Residential Plots on Offer
The new housing schemes include Naimish Nagar at Bakshi Ka Talab and Varun Vihar on Mohan Road near the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. LDA is also working on the Wellness City project on Sultanpur Road.
The authority says all arrangements related to registration, lottery, and plot allotment are almost complete. The online application process is expected to begin soon.
In total, 3,105 residential plots will be available for booking under the first phase of these projects.
Plot Sizes to Suit Different Budgets
The plots will range in size from 72 square meters to 450 square meters. This will give buyers several options depending on their budget and requirements.
LDA has also directed officials to start work on major roads ranging from 18 meters to 45 meters wide in both projects. These roads are expected to improve connectivity and support future development.
Varun Vihar: A Large Township Along the Expressway
Varun Vihar is one of LDA’s biggest planned developments. The project will be spread across nearly 6,580 acres along the Agra-Lucknow Expressway.
More than 800 acres will be reserved for green belts, parks, and water bodies. The project also includes plans for an international-standard golf course, a large central park, and a logistics park covering around 300 acres.
In the first phase, LDA will offer 1,926 residential plots. Out of these, 1,218 plots will be located in Kailash Khand, while 708 plots will be available in Kashi Khand.
Naimish Nagar to Boost Development in North Lucknow
Naimish Nagar is LDA’s second major housing project and will be developed over around 3,600 acres near IIM Road.
The project is being designed as a new growth corridor for northern Lucknow. Land acquisition is currently underway in several villages of Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) tehsil.
During the first phase, registration will open for 1,179 residential plots. This includes 669 plots in Brahma Khand and 510 plots in Bhoomi Khand.
With both projects nearing launch, homebuyers in Lucknow could soon get a chance to own plots in two of the city’s biggest upcoming residential developments.
