As November begins, the public has received surprising news about LPG cylinder prices.
Prices are updated on the first day of each month, and on November 1, 2024, the price of commercial cylinders has increased by ₹62.
This change may also impact the general public. However, there is some good news: the prices of domestic cylinders remain unchanged.
New Rates for Commercial Cylinders
According to the official website of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the updated prices for commercial LPG cylinders are as follows:
Delhi: ₹1,802 (previously ₹1,740 in October)
Kolkata: ₹1,911.50 (previously ₹1,850.50)
Mumbai: ₹1,754 (previously ₹1,692.50)
Chennai: ₹1,964 (previously ₹1,903)
Domestic Cylinder Prices Remain Stable
There have been no changes to the prices of domestic cylinders this month.

The last adjustment occurred in August 2023, and since then, the prices have remained the same across all cities:
Delhi: ₹803
Kolkata: ₹829
Mumbai: ₹802.50
Chennai: ₹818.50
Beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme receive a subsidy of ₹200 on domestic cylinders, bringing their effective cost down to ₹603.
