The decision to redesign the portal came after passengers, especially students, raised concerns about the difficulties they faced while booking train tickets.
Last month, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw visited Rajasthan, where a student highlighted issues such as repeated CAPTCHA checks and the lengthy booking process.
A video of the interaction later went viral on social media, drawing widespread attention to the problem.
The new website is expected to address many of these complaints by making train ticket booking faster, simpler, and more convenient for millions of passengers across the country.
