IRCTC launches 2 Bharat Gaurav Trains for Sawan-Bhado Pilgrimage

Planning a religious trip this year? The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced two special Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains for pilgrims and travel enthusiasts.

These special trains will run in July and August and take passengers to some of India’s most famous religious destinations.

The tour packages include popular temples in South India, four sacred Jyotirlingas, and the iconic Statue of Unity in Gujarat.

Online booking for both trains has already started on the IRCTC website.

First Bharat Gaurav Train: 12-Day South India Temple Tour

The first special tourist train will begin its journey on July 31 and continue until August 11, covering 11 nights and 12 days.

The train will depart from Gorakhpur and travel via Prayagraj.

During the journey, passengers will visit several well-known temples and important religious sites across South India, making it an ideal tour for devotees looking for a spiritual experience.

Second Bharat Gaurav Train: Visit 4 Jyotirlingas and the Statue of Unity

The second Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is scheduled to run from August 17 to August 26, covering 9 nights and 10 days.

This train will also start from Gorakhpur.

As part of this tour, passengers will get the opportunity to visit four sacred Jyotirlingas along with the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue located in Gujarat.

Comfortable Journey with Several Onboard Facilities

According to IRCTC Joint General Manager Vaibhav Shukla, special attention has been given to passenger comfort, safety, and convenience throughout the journey.

Passengers can choose from Sleeper Class, Third AC (3AC), and Second AC (2AC) coaches based on their budget.

IRCTC will provide daily breakfast and two meals, so travelers won’t have to worry about food during the trip.

For local sightseeing, AC and non-AC buses will be arranged at different destinations to help passengers visit nearby attractions comfortably.

In addition, 24-hour medical assistance will be available onboard to handle any emergency during the journey.

Booking Has Started

IRCTC has kept the tour fares budget-friendly for different travel classes, making these packages suitable for a wide range of travelers.
