Bharat Gaurav trains, launched under Indian Railways’ theme-based tourism initiative, are becoming a popular choice among pilgrims and travelers.

The biggest advantage of these tours is convenience. Instead of booking train tickets, hotels, meals, and local transport separately, travelers get everything included in a single package.

To make religious tourism easier and more affordable, IRCTC has introduced several new tour packages this year.

These tours cover some of India’s most important pilgrimage destinations, from Ayodhya and Kashi to Rameswaram and even Nepal.

Ayodhya, Kashi and Jyotirlinga Tours in One Package

One of the major offerings is the Ayodhya-Kashi Punya Kshetra Yatra, specially designed for devotees who want to visit some of the country’s most revered religious sites.

The tour covers destinations such as Puri, Konark, Baidyanath Dham, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj.

The journey begins on June 3, with package prices starting from ₹16,700.

IRCTC is also offering the Sapta Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra and Dakshin Darshan Yatra with Jyotirlingas.

These tours include famous pilgrimage destinations like Ujjain, Dwarka, Somnath, Pune, Nashik, Tirupati, Rameswaram, and Mallikarjuna.

The cost of these packages ranges between ₹17,600 and ₹20,250, making them an affordable option for devotees looking to cover multiple sacred sites in a single trip.

Special South India Temple Tours

For those interested in exploring the spiritual heritage of South India, IRCTC has launched dedicated temple tours covering some of the region’s most famous destinations.

The South India Tour Package includes visits to Tirumala, Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, and Srisailam.

Another popular option is the Divya Dakshin Yatra with Arunachalam, which takes travelers to historic and religious destinations such as Arunachalam, Chidambaram, Thanjavur, Trichy, Rameswaram, and Madurai.

These tours last between 9 and 13 days and include train travel, hotel accommodation, meals, and sightseeing, allowing pilgrims to focus on their spiritual journey without worrying about travel arrangements.

Dwarka, Somnath and Northeast Pilgrimage Circuits

IRCTC has also expanded its offerings to include major pilgrimage destinations in western and northeastern India.

The Ujjain-Dwarka-Veraval Yatra covers Ujjain’s Mahakal Temple, Dwarkadhish Temple, and the Somnath Jyotirlinga.

Meanwhile, the Puri-Kamakhya-Baidyanath Dham Yatra takes travelers to the Jagannath Temple in Puri, Kamakhya Dham in Assam, Varanasi, and Ayodhya.

Package prices start from ₹22,770 and go up to ₹24,100, giving devotees an opportunity to visit several important religious sites in one journey.

Nepal Darshan Yatra Becomes a Major Attraction

One of the most talked-about offerings this year is the Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra.

This special package takes pilgrims to the famous Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, along with visits to Pokhara and Chitwan National Park.

The tour will begin on June 24, 2026, and spans 9 nights and 10 days.

Prices start from ₹61,340.

The package includes train and bus travel, hotel stays, meals, guide services, and travel insurance.

Along with religious significance, travelers also get the chance to experience Nepal’s natural beauty and cultural attractions.

Why Are Bharat Gaurav Packages Becoming So Popular?

Travel experts believe Bharat Gaurav trains are helping boost religious tourism by making pilgrimages easier and more organized.

Since transportation, accommodation, meals, and local travel are included in one package, pilgrims can enjoy a stress-free experience.

Group travel also adds an extra layer of safety and convenience.

With affordable pricing and access to major religious destinations across India and Nepal, these packages are expected to attract a large number of devotees in the coming months.

For travelers looking to combine spirituality, comfort, and value for money, Bharat Gaurav trains are emerging as a compelling option.
