Despite general gloom and doom, the year 2022 may not be as bad for gadget aficionados. iPhone maker Apple has announced price drops across models on Thursday, making them more affordable.

e-Commerce portals Amazon and Flipkart have already implemented the price drops. It is to be noted that the prices of various models depend on the colour and variant of the model.

Here is the list of new prices below:

iPhone 12: The topmost 128GB variant costs Rs 70,900 on Amazon and Rs 64,999 on Flipkart. The iPhone 12 64GB variant is listed for Rs 59,999 on Flipkart and the same variant costs Rs 63,900 on Amazon. The blue colour 64 GB variant costs Rs 60,4999 on Flipkart.

iPhone 12 mini: The 128 GB variant of the iPhone 12 mini is available at a reduced price of Rs 54,999 for red colour and Rs 64,900 for green colour. The base price of the phone is Rs 69,900.

The 64 GB variant in black, white and blue colours is available at Rs 49,999 on Amazon. The purple and green colours of the same variant are available for a premium at Rs 53,900 and Rs 59,900 respectively.

iPhone 11: The reduced price of the 64Gb variant is Rs 49,000 and the 128 GB variant is available at Rs 54,999 on Flipkart.

It is being speculated that Apple is expected to launch a new iPhone in 2022, the next iPhone SE in the affordable segment. The iPhone SE 2020 is priced at Rs 42,500 in India.
