This technical glitch has disrupted flight movements and ground services at airports across India, leaving passengers stranded.
Many travellers have reported difficulties in boarding flights and booking tickets due to the system failure, leading to widespread frustration.
Passengers Take to Social Media
Many passengers turned to the social media platform X to express their frustrations and call for action.
One traveller tweeted, “@IndiGo6E Investing in new planes is good, but ground services need improvement! The situation at Bangalore T1 for the past hour is chaotic. Elderly passengers are being harassed. @DGCAIndia please take note.”
Another user expressed difficulty in booking flights, tweeting, “@IndiGo6E your services are down.
I can’t book any IndiGo flights on any platform!” IndiGo responded by apologizing and asking for further details to resolve the issue.
IndiGo Issues Alert and Assures Assistance
IndiGo acknowledged the technical problem through an alert on X, stating, “We are currently experiencing a temporary system slowdown across our network, affecting our website and booking systems. Customers may face longer wait times at check-ins and queues.”

Despite the airline’s efforts, many passengers reported being unable to board flights since Saturday afternoon, causing significant delays and disruptions at airports.
Many affected passengers have urged the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to take action on the matter.
