IndiGo is making travel easier for its customers with the launch of a new airport transfer service called ‘Cabs with IndiGo’.
The service allows passengers to book cab rides to and from airports directly through the airline’s website and mobile app.
With this move, IndiGo aims to offer a smoother travel experience by helping passengers manage their entire journey—from home to the airport and back—through a single platform.
What Is ‘Cabs with IndiGo’?
The newly launched service is designed to solve some of the most common problems faced by travelers, such as last-minute cab cancellations, surge pricing, and difficulty finding rides during peak hours.
Passengers can now pre-book airport cabs while planning their trip, making their travel experience more predictable and stress-free.
The service is available in all Indian cities that have airports served by IndiGo.
Key Features Travelers Will Get
IndiGo has introduced several benefits to make the service more attractive for customers.
Some of the key features include:
Cab reservations starting at just ₹49
Transparent pricing with no surge charges
Pre-booked rides for better reliability
Free cancellation until pickup time
Up to 30 minutes of complimentary waiting time
These features are aimed at giving travelers greater convenience and peace of mind, especially during airport transfers.
Earn Rewards While Booking Cabs
The airline has also integrated the service with its loyalty program, IndiGo BluChip.
Members can earn 5 BluChips for every ₹100 spent on cab bookings through the platform.
This allows frequent travelers to collect rewards not just on flights, but also on their airport transportation.
Part of IndiGo’s Bigger Travel Strategy
The launch of ‘Cabs with IndiGo’ is part of the airline’s broader effort to build a complete travel ecosystem for customers.
Over the years, IndiGo has expanded beyond flight bookings by offering hotel reservations and sightseeing experiences.
The airline currently provides access to more than 700,000 accommodation options through its travel platform.
By adding airport transfers, IndiGo is looking to make travel planning more convenient and reduce the need for passengers to use multiple apps and services.
IndiGo’s Vision for Hassle-Free Travel
According to Neetan Chopra, Chief Digital and Information Officer at IndiGo, the airline wants to offer customers a seamless experience at every stage of their journey.
He said the new cab service strengthens IndiGo’s goal of creating an end-to-end travel ecosystem where passengers can rely on the airline not only for flights but also for transportation and other travel needs.
What This Means for Travelers
For passengers, the new service could eliminate many of the uncertainties that come with airport transportation.
Instead of searching for cabs after landing or worrying about surge pricing, travelers can now arrange their ride in advance through IndiGo itself.
As airlines increasingly expand into travel-related services, ‘Cabs with IndiGo’ marks another step toward making the entire travel experience simpler, more convenient, and more connected.
