The Railway Ministry has introduced a new super app for rail passengers, named SwaRail.
This app provides multiple services in one place. It is currently available for testing on the Google Play Store.
Initially, only 1,000 users can download it, and based on their feedback, access will be expanded to 10,000 users.
After making necessary improvements, the app will be officially launched for everyone to download.
All services will be available in one place, says Railway official
Railway Board member Dilip Kumar stated that the app has been launched to enhance user experience with a seamless and user-friendly interface.
It will provide all essential services in one place. The app will be available for beta testing on Google Play and the Apple App Store starting January 31.

Features of the Super App
In this app, users can access all facilities with a single sign-in. This eliminates the need to log in multiple times to enjoy various services of Indian Railways.
Currently, separate apps are required for reserved and unreserved bookings, but with SwaRail, both tasks can be done within one app.
There’s no need for separate sign-up; users can log in using their RailConnect and UTS app credentials.
???? You can on-board this App using your existing credentials of RailConnect or UTSonMobile App.
???? Once registered on SuperApp, your same credential will work on both these exisitng Apps of Indian Railways as well as on SuperApp.

It will be easy to use
The app, developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), will offer services like ticket booking (for all types), parcel and freight inquiries, train and PNR status checks, food ordering, and rail help for complaints.
It is designed for user convenience, and once signed in, users can also access it using biometrics.
