Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms in North India (Check Details)

The weather in most states of North India continues to be affected by heavy rain, with thunder and lightning, due to the influence of a western disturbance and cyclonic circulation.

On Friday, heavy rain occurred in many areas, including UP, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh, with hail in several locations.

The weather conditions have caused fog to form in many cities. On Saturday, rain is expected to continue in many parts of the country.

Weather Alert for Madhya Pradesh and Other States

In Madhya Pradesh, Saturday’s weather includes heavy rain, thunder, and lightning in districts like Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and Narmadapuram. There is a chance of hail in some areas.

The districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Rewa, Sagar, Jabalpur, and Narmadapuram are also expected to experience thunderstorms, rain, and possible hailstorms, with wind speeds reaching 40 to 50 km per hour.

Rain and Hail Alert for Other Districts

A weather alert has been issued for rain, hailstorm, and strong winds in several districts today, including Dhar, Morena, Sheopur, Agar-Malwa, Indore, Bhind, Gwalior, Shivpuri, and others.

In addition, hailstorms are expected in Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, and other areas.

Rainfall is predicted in cities like Alirajpur, Jhabua, Dhar, Indore, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Satna, Shahdol, Katni, Jabalpur, and several others.

Madhya Pradesh Meteorological Department Forecast

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in various parts of the state due to weather systems, including an induced cyclone over South-West Rajasthan

and a cyclone in the upper atmosphere of the Bay of Bengal. The ongoing western disturbance near Pakistan is contributing to moisture, resulting in cloudy, rainy, and hailstorm conditions.

After the western disturbance moves away, temperatures are expected to drop, with cold weather

and dense fog predicted for the end of December. A cold wave is also likely to affect many cities in the new year.
