HDFC Bank announces Temporary Service Downtime

HDFC Bank has issued a downtime alert for its account holders, announcing a temporary closure of many banking services for three days.

The bank has notified customers through email about the planned downtime and urges them to complete any important tasks in advance.

This maintenance is essential for improving services, but customers are advised to complete any important transactions before the downtime period.

UPI Service Unavailable on January 18 and 25

HDFC Bank customers will not be able to use UPI services on January 18 and 25 due to scheduled maintenance.

The UPI service will be unavailable for three hours on both days, from 12 AM to 3 AM.

During this time, customers will not be able to conduct UPI transactions through savings/current accounts, Rupay credit cards, or the HDFC mobile banking app.

Merchants will also be unable to process UPI transactions through HDFC Bank.

Disruption of Other Services on January 24

On January 24, several services will be disrupted for a total of 16 hours, from 10 PM to 2 PM on January 25.

During this period, customers will not have access to SMS banking, chat banking, or phone banking IVR services.
