The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the deadline for free Aadhaar document updates through the myAadhaar portal.

Indian citizens can now update their identity and address documents online without paying any fee till June 14, 2027.

The extension was announced through an official memorandum issued on May 13, 2026.

Visit the official myAadhaar portal

Log in using:

Aadhaar number

OTP received on the registered mobile number

Check the identity and address details displayed in the profile.

If the details are correct, click on:
“I confirm that the above information is correct.”

Select the document type from the dropdown menu.

Upload the required documents and submit the request.
