The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has extended the last date for paying the final installment for 1,800 premium flats in the 19B area of Dwarka.
The original deadline of September 28 has now been pushed to October 31.
This decision was made to accommodate buyers’ requests for more time and to allow builders to complete the finishing work on the flats.
Buyers now have over a month to settle their outstanding payments.
Concerns from Buyers and Recent Auctions
Flat owners from Towers A to K had specifically asked for the deadline extension. Additionally, builders needed extra time to finish construction.
The DDA announced this decision through a circular on Tuesday.
Many buyers have expressed concerns about the lack of essential facilities in the flats, such as security systems, electricity, water supply, entry gates, and entertainment areas, which are still incomplete.
On the same day, DDA held an e-auction as part of the Dwarka Housing Scheme, which was met with a positive response.
They auctioned off 173 flats, selling 10, including one penthouse, three super high-income group flats, and six high-income group flats, all above the reserve price.
The following day, DDA auctioned 17 more flats, consisting of 12 high-income group and five medium-income group flats, all sold at prices exceeding the reserve price.
These e-auctions were conducted from September 24 to 26.
