The government announced on Wednesday that the ‘e-Daakhil’ portal has now been successfully launched in all states and union territories across India.
This portal is designed to offer a quick, low-cost, and hassle-free way for consumers to register complaints.
What is the e-Daakhil Portal?
The e-Daakhil portal makes it easier for consumers to file, track, and manage their complaints. It aims to provide a smooth experience for both consumers
and other parties involved. With the recent launch in Ladakh, the portal is now available throughout the country.
Success of the e-Daakhil Portal
First introduced on September 7, 2020, the e-Daakhil portal was created to improve how consumer complaints are handled.
Since then, it has helped many consumers reach the right consumer courts easily.
There are currently 2,81,024 registered users, with 1,98,725 cases filed. Of those, 38,453 cases have already been resolved.
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs highlighted that the e-filing portal, now accessible nationwide, will change the way consumer rights are handled in India.
The government is also working on improving and expanding the platform to meet the growing needs of consumers.
