Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced a new talent hunt program called “Hauslon Ki Udaan 2026-27” to discover and support talented young people across the capital.
The scheme aims to provide a big platform for youth to showcase their skills, creativity, and talent at the state and national level.
Along with the announcement, CM Rekha Gupta also unveiled the official logo of the program.
According to her, the logo represents the dreams, confidence, and creativity of Delhi’s younger generation.
Delhi Arts, Culture, and Languages Minister Kapil Mishra was also present during the launch event.
Government Wants to Give Youth a Bigger Platform
The Delhi government says the program is not just about finding talent but also about helping young people build confidence and create their own identity.
The scheme will be managed by the Department of Arts, Culture, and Languages and will focus on promoting both modern creativity and Delhi’s cultural heritage.
CM Rekha Gupta said every young person has talent, but many do not get the right opportunity or platform to showcase it.
The government believes this initiative will encourage:
Creativity
Self-confidence
Self-employment
Self-reliance
The scheme will be implemented across all 70 Assembly constituencies of Delhi with a total budget of ₹10 crore.
More Than 25,000 Youth Expected to Participate
The Delhi government expects over 25,000 young participants to join the competition.

Officials have assured that the entire process will be conducted in a transparent and systematic way to ensure equal opportunities for everyone.
Competitions Will Be Held in 7 Major Categories
Participants will be able to compete in several creative fields.
The seven major categories include:
Singing
Dance
Acting and theatre
Instrumental music
Music composition
Fine arts and digital arts
Sculpture and pottery
The singing and dance sections will include classical, folk, and modern styles.
Competition Will Happen in 4 Stages
The entire talent hunt program will be conducted in four phases.
First Stage: Registration and Shortlisting
Applications from all seven categories will be screened online. Around 24,500 participants are expected to move to the next round.
Second Stage: Cluster-Level Competitions
Competitions will be held across 35 clusters, each covering two Assembly constituencies. Around 2,450 participants will be shortlisted from this phase.
Third Stage: Zonal Competitions
The best performers from each category will compete at the zonal level.
Final Stage: Grand Finale
The final round will take place in August with 28 finalists competing at the state level.
The government has also announced that evaluation will include:
25% public online voting
75% expert jury evaluation
The jury will include experienced professionals from different creative fields.
Winners Will Receive Cash Prizes Worth Lakhs
The Delhi government has announced attractive prize money for winners.
First Prize: ₹2.5 lakh
Second Prize: ₹2 lakh
Third Prize: ₹1.5 lakh
Fourth Prize: ₹1 lakh
Apart from cash prizes, finalists will also receive certificates, medals, shields, and awards.
The Grand Finale is expected to be organized on a large scale with Bollywood celebrities and famous personalities likely to attend.
CM Says Program Will Help Youth Build Identity
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said “Hauslon Ki Udaan” is much more than a simple talent competition.
According to her, the platform is designed to help Delhi’s youth create an identity for themselves at both the national and international level.
She also hinted that talented participants could later become brand ambassadors for social awareness campaigns in the future.
Appealing to young people to participate in large numbers, the Chief Minister encouraged them to give wings to their dreams and make full use of the opportunity created by the Delhi Government.
