DDA Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026 offers 2,516 low-income group (LIG) flats in Delhi’s Narela area at a 25% discount, bringing the prices of these homes to around Rs 15 lakh.

The scheme has been announced ahead of the festive season, offering prospective homebuyers an opportunity to explore affordable housing in the national capital.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced the scheme through an official circular dated October 8, 2026.

Registration is scheduled to begin on October 14, while flat bookings will open on October 20, 2026.

DDA Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026: Flat Prices and Details

Under the scheme, DDA is offering 2,516 LIG flats in Narela with a flat 25% discount.

The indicative prices after the discount range from approximately Rs 14.95 lakh to Rs 15.01 lakh, making the scheme an option for buyers looking for relatively affordable homes in Delhi.

The flats are located in two pockets of Narela. Pocket 3 has 1,020 flats, while Pocket 6 has 1,496 flats.

The listed area is around 49.90 square metres, including the balcony and shared areas, so applicants should check the brochure for details about the usable carpet area.

The scheme is aimed at expanding access to affordable housing.

However, buyers should assess the location, connectivity, daily travel requirements and additional costs before deciding whether a flat suits their needs.

Registration and Booking Dates

According to the announced schedule, applicants will be able to download the scheme brochure from October 13, 2026, at 12 noon.

Online registration is scheduled to start on October 14 at 12 noon, followed by the opening of flat bookings on October 20 at 12 noon.

Applicants must pay a one-time registration fee of Rs 2,500.

Those who have already registered on DDA’s Awaas Portal do not need to register again, according to the scheme circular.

The booking amount for a flat is Rs 1 lakh.

Applicants should read the official brochure carefully to understand the payment process, eligibility requirements, allotment procedure and applicable terms before proceeding.

Additional Costs Homebuyers Should Check

The advertised flat price may not represent the total amount a buyer eventually pays.

Additional charges, including maintenance and water connection charges, may apply separately, so prospective buyers should review the detailed cost breakdown before making a financial commitment.

It is also important to check the payment deadlines, cancellation rules and refund conditions in the official scheme documents.

Applicants should not assume that every payment is refundable or that all charges are included in the discounted price.

Buyers should also consider whether the location is convenient for their workplace, schools, healthcare facilities and other everyday needs.

An affordable purchase price is important, but the long-term cost and practicality of living in the area matter too.

What Buyers Should Do Before Applying

People interested in DDA Awas Nivesh Yojana 2026 should review the official circular and the detailed brochure when available.

They should verify the flat prices, location, area details, payment requirements and other conditions through DDA’s official housing services before submitting an application or making a payment.

Applicants should use the official DDA Awaas Portal for registration and booking and avoid relying solely on third-party advertisements or unverified payment requests.

With 2,516 discounted LIG flats on offer, the scheme gives prospective buyers another housing option in Narela.

Whether it is the right choice will depend on each applicant’s budget, eligibility and assessment of the location and additional costs.
