ColorOS 13 Now Available for Beta Testing: (See Details Here)

Oppo is now rolling out ColorOS 13 beta testing of the next version its mobile software. Oppo has been testing ColorOS 13 internally for several days before the announcement of public beta testing.

ColorOS 13 is built on Android 13. The new ColorOS 13 is built on Android 13. ColorOS 13 is now available for download by interested users, but there are some limitations.

The Oppo forum states that ColorOS 13 isn’t limited to China. This is good news for those in other countries. The eligible markets are however very limited.

This is the first caveat. The company stated that ColorOS 13 would be available for public beta testing in Australia and France, Indonesia, Malaysia. Thailand, Vietnam, Vietnam, and the UAE.

India is not included on this list. It is right, as the eligible devices for testing are not available in India.

ColorOS 13 beta testing program includes the Oppo Find N foldable smartphone and Find X5 series (Find X5 and Find X5Pro).

The second caveat is that only 1,000 slots are available for limited testing. Oppo stated that slots will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

How to update Oppo’s phone to ColorOS 13 beta

Backup your data before you start the ColorOS 13 installation process. Next, go to Settings, then About device and then to Trial versions.

To apply for a spot in the testing program, you will need to complete a form. You will receive the ColorOS 13 beta update if you are accepted to the program.

For the Find N, you will need to change the firmware version to A.20/A.22, A.20/A.21, for the Find X5 Pro and A.18, for the Find X5.
