Students who scored good marks in Bihar Board 10th and 12th exams now have a chance to receive financial support from the Bihar Government.
Applications for the Chief Minister’s Boys and Girls Incentive Scheme started on May 25, 2026.
Eligible students can apply online through the Medhasoft portal.
The scheme aims to reward students for good academic performance and help them continue their education without financial pressure.
How Much Scholarship Will Students Get?
Under this scheme, students passing the Bihar Board exams with good marks will receive cash incentives from the state government.
For Class 10 Students
Students passing with First Division will receive ₹10,000
SC/ST students passing with Second Division will receive ₹8,000
For Class 12 Students
Special scholarship benefits are available for girls passing Intermediate exams.
SC/ST girls passing with First Division will receive ₹15,000
Those passing with Second Division will get ₹10,000
The amount will be transferred directly to students’ bank accounts.

Fill in date of birth
Enter total marks obtained
After logging in, students must complete the application form with details such as:
Name
Marks
Bank account number
Bank branch details
Aadhaar number
Students should carefully check all details before submitting the form.
Scholarship Amount Will Be Sent Through DBT
The Bihar Government will transfer the scholarship money directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
To avoid payment issues, students must follow these important rules:
The bank account must belong to the student
The account should be linked with Aadhaar
The account must be in a nationalized bank, approved private bank, or India Post Payments Bank located in Bihar
