ChatGPT Can Now Schedule Tasks and Control Your Computer

Good news for ChatGPT users! OpenAI has introduced a new feature called Task to improve the ChatGPT experience.

Currently in beta, this feature allows users to schedule reminders, updates, and alerts. It is expected to be a strong competitor to Apple’s Siri and Amazon Alexa.

Features of the Task Function

With the new Task feature, users can schedule various tasks, such as weather updates, concert ticket sales, and weekly news briefings.

It also offers personalized suggestions based on the user’s conversations, further enhancing the user experience.

The Task feature is available for users with Plus, Team, and Pro plans. To use it, simply select “Schedule Task” in the ChatGPT menu, and then tell ChatGPT what you want to do and when.

ChatGPT Can Control Your Computer

In addition to scheduling tasks, ChatGPT will also be able to control your computer, but only after you give your confirmation.

Currently, this feature is available for paid users, and OpenAI has not yet announced when it will be available for free.

Apple has already integrated ChatGPT’s features into Siri using Apple Intelligence Technology, which has been well-received.

Additionally, OpenAI may launch Operator, which will allow ChatGPT to control your computer, in the near future.
