This scheme has provided benefits to farmers through 16 installments so far, and they are eagerly waiting for the 17th installment. To receive these benefits, farmers must register for the scheme.

Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.

The first installment is distributed between April 1 and July 31, the second between August 1 and November 30, and the third between December 1 and March 31.

Rule Changes and Requirements

Some farmers have not received their PM Kisan payments on time, leading to concerns about possible rule changes.

However, there have been no official changes to the scheme’s rules. To continue receiving benefits, farmers must link their bank accounts with Aadhaar and complete their KYC (Know Your Customer) process.

Farmers who have not applied for the next installment should do so promptly, and those who have applied should check their application status.

Ineligible Farmers for PM Kisan Benefits

Certain farmers are ineligible for PM Kisan benefits:

Both husband and wife cannot simultaneously receive benefits. If any family member pays income tax, they are disqualified from the scheme.

Farmers who lease land for farming cannot receive benefits, as land ownership is a requirement. Farmers or family members holding constitutional posts are also ineligible.

Ensuring compliance with these rules and maintaining accurate documentation is essential for farmers to continue receiving benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana.
