BSNL has introduced a new payment feature called BSNL Pay for its customers.

The service is now available inside the official BSNL Selfcare App.

With this new feature, BSNL users no longer need to switch to third-party apps like PhonePe or Google Pay for mobile recharges and bill payments.

Now, customers can complete recharge and payment directly within the BSNL app itself.

What Is BSNL Pay?

BSNL Pay is not a separate payment app.

It is a built-in feature inside the BSNL Selfcare App.

The company launched this service in partnership with BHIM and the UPI infrastructure to make payments faster and more convenient for users.

According to reports, BSNL Pay has been developed with support from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and Bank of Baroda.

The main aim is to give customers a smooth payment experience without leaving the app.

No Need for Third-Party Apps Anymore

Earlier, BSNL users had to leave the Selfcare App and open another payment app to recharge their numbers or pay bills.

This extra step often made the process slower and less convenient.

With BSNL Pay, users can now:

Recharge BSNL mobile numbers

Pay bills directly

Use UPI payment features

Complete transactions inside one app

This makes the entire process quicker and easier for customers.

More Than Just Mobile Recharge

BSNL Pay is not limited to recharge services only.

The feature also supports several UPI-based functions, including UPI Lite.

This allows users to make small payments without entering a UPI PIN every time.

Another useful feature is AutoPay. With this option, users can automate their recharges and avoid the hassle of renewing plans manually every month.

Who Can Use BSNL Pay?

To use BSNL Pay, customers must have a BSNL mobile number.

Since the feature works only through the BSNL Selfcare App, users need to log in using their BSNL number to access the payment services.

BSNL’s goal is to turn its Selfcare App into an all-in-one platform where users can manage their account, recharge plans, customer support, and payments from a single place.

The move is also expected to reduce dependence on external payment apps and improve customer convenience.
