There is good news for people in Bareilly who were waiting for air services to Delhi. Flight operations between Bareilly Airport and Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport will officially begin from July 1.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has approved the service and the flight schedule has also been released. Airline company IndiGo has already started ticket bookings for the route.
Flights to Jewar Airport Also Starting
Along with Delhi flights, air services from Bareilly to Noida’s Jewar International Airport will also start from July 2.
This will make travel easier for people who regularly travel between Bareilly, Delhi, and Noida. Officials say flights to Kushinagar from Bareilly may also begin soon.
Earlier, the Delhi flight service was expected to start from June 2. Preparations had already started at the airport, but the launch was delayed because of low booking demand.
Airport officials have now confirmed that both Delhi and Jewar services will begin almost together.
Weekly Flight Schedule and Timings
The Bareilly to Delhi flight will operate three days a week — Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
The Bareilly to Jewar flight will run four days a week — Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
ATR 72 aircraft with 78 seats will be used for these routes.
Delhi Flight Timings
Flight will leave Delhi at 1:35 PM
It will reach Bareilly at 2:35 PM
Return flight will depart Bareilly at 3:00 PM
It will arrive in Delhi at 4:05 PM
Jewar Flight Timings
Flight will depart Jewar at 10:30 AM
It will arrive in Bareilly at 11:20 AM
Return flight will leave Bareilly at 12:05 PM
It will reach Jewar at 1:00 PM
Ticket Price Starts at ₹4,500
According to the current listing on IndiGo’s website, the starting airfare for flights from Bareilly to both Delhi and Jewar is around ₹4,500.
With these new flight services, air connectivity from Bareilly is expected to improve significantly and make travel faster and more convenient for passengers.
